Data Deletion Request

Money₂Time is a local-first app: all of your financial data is stored only on your device and is never sent to our servers. This page explains how to request deletion of the data associated with the Money₂Time app, including the steps to request deletion and which types of data are deleted or kept, along with any retention periods.

How to Request Data Deletion

Delete data stored on your device

Almost all of your data, including all of your financial data, is stored only on your device. You can delete it yourself at any time:

  1. Open the Money₂Time app and go to Settings.
  2. Tap "Reset All Data" to permanently delete all transactions, accounts, categories, recurring rules, and wage settings.
  3. Alternatively, uninstall the app to remove the local database and all stored data entirely.

Request deletion of analytics and subscription data

To request deletion of the anonymous analytics or subscription data associated with your device, contact us:

  1. Email us at the address below with the subject "Data Deletion Request", or use the contact form on this site.
  2. Include the last four digits of your user ID, which you can find in Settings > Display, so we can locate the anonymous data associated with your device.
  3. We will process your request and confirm completion within 30 days.

What Data Is Deleted or Kept

The table below summarizes what happens to each type of data when you request deletion, and how long any data is retained.

Data We Do Not Store

Money₂Time does not require an account and does not store your name, email, Apple ID, Google Account, or payment details on our servers. Because your financial data never leaves your device, we cannot access or delete it for you.

Subscription and payment records held by Apple or Google are outside our control and are managed directly through your Apple or Google account.
